The Pilot Pro Ex Dual Drive CNC Router with Rails - complete:
This machine is the rails version of the Pilot Pro Ex Dual. The rails increase loading and rigidity compared to the rods version. The Pilot Pro is an all metal design and uses the best linear components for top performance.

This is for a complete machine - Assembled and tested Pilot Pro dual drive CNC router with rails includes the Porter Cable 7310 router / spindle, The Pilot Pro CNC and Projects DVD with Pilot Pro CNC information, and software programs (light versions) for using the Pilot Pro. The Pilot Pro Ex has a travel of ~26 X 26 X 4.5 inch.

Includes 16mm (5/8") Ball Screws, Large stepper motors (439 oz-in), High flex heavy (16guage) motor wire, Energy chains, 4 - 5045 stepper drivers, power supply, spindle, limit and home switches, vacuum attachment, and the Pilot Pro DVD. *You will need a computer and stand.

The Pilot Pro Ex Dual Drive CNC Router with Rails kit:

This is the starter package you have been looking for! With this DIY package you are more than half-done.

This is for a complete machine in kit form - Comes with all the steel and aluminum parts cut, all the hole locations are pre-pecked and ready for drilling. Surface milled stock for linear bearing mounts and gantry supports, and all the hardware for assembly. All the precision linear components with the ball lead screws and motor mounts cut and turned. Also includes 4 stepper motors (439 oz-in), high flex motor wire, Energy chains, 4 - 5045 motor drivers, power supply, spindle, and DVD. *The limit and home switches, vacuum attachment are sold separately (See note at bottom). *You will need a computer and stand.

PLUS the Pilot Pro CNC and Projects DVD is included and comes with all the information for building and assembling the Pilot Pro CNC project. The instructions contain detailed assembly documentation (loaded with photographs) including the parts lists, with costs and suppliers.

A few common and inexpensive power tools are needed and the Pilot Pro CNC and Projects DVD will guide you through the process. All you do is finish drilling the holes using a drill press, paint the steel parts, then assemble and run the unit. That's all there is to do and the Pilot Pro is ready to use!
