Mold Making and Casting

Put together a simple frame. This one is make from shim stock. Make the frame a 1/4" to 1/2" higher than the parts.


Make the mold from origanal parts.


Pour the RTV over the parts in the frame.


Let the RTV setup.


Separate the mold from the form.


Clean up the mold.


Cast some parts.

This was done with alumilite plastic and it setup in about 3 minutes.
